  1. I was subject to all of the publicity everyone else was when the Green Mile was made, and then came out on DVD, etc. I always ignored it because it sounded like Shawshank Redemption, and the network publicity machine out-smarted itself by tricking me into thinking that Stephen King had plagiarized himself.

Here is an interesting synchronicity. I read your intriguing quiz, which is very thought-provoking, and it drew my attention to the Green Mile. Guess what was on Bravo tonight? Thank you for inducing me into watching it, which was really worth the experience.

  2. It's a movie about miracles and healing and role reversals. I pray for this for everyone.

  3. Movie wise you forgot about "Here Comes Mr. Jordan," "Stairway to Heaven"
and "The Stunt Man" (that's mystical to me), "The Wizard of Oz" and "Notting Hill" (that's mystical to me), I can probably think of more but it's dinner time.

    1. Brian!

Thank you for the suggestions. Love Here comes Mr. Jordan/Heavan Can Wait. And especially, Notting Hill, a deeply-observant movie about relationships:

"I've had love heroin, and I want more," is the signature line in that ro-mo from Hugh Grant. We plan to expand our slideshow, and thank you for helping us.

  4. Sixth sense meets invasion of the body snatchers:

    "I see pod people."

    Gandhi meets Godzilla:

"Now, just passively resist those japanese fighters..."
