August 13, 2008: Soul’s Code, the site with spirit

If you haven’t discovered the newest property in town about health and happiness in mind, body and soul, here’s a 60-second snapshot. Check out our new design, which was created by Arno Ghelfi at his San Francisco-based studio, L’atelier Starno.
Visit Soul’s Code, and share your comments about some of the new things you’ll see . . .

Like our current series, YOGA, PRANA, LOVE. Raquel Tavares, who is both the writer and the model in these photos — most of them shot on a Pacific beach near our San Francisco headquarters — learned yoga from her mother as a young girl. A certified Ashtanga instructor, she shares some of her lifelong insights and teachings.

Email inspirations, a new feature where we sift through all those  forwarded messages swirling around cyber-space. We’ve cherry-picked the most inspirational stories, funny urban legends and zen-lightened things that come out of kids’ mouths. Send us your own favorites,
and we’ll add it to our gallery!

Be in an upcoming slideshow!
Send us your pictures of yoga or meditation poses in unusual places for a chance to be in our slideshow, MEDITATION JUNKIES (The best entry will win a $50-gift certificate to SoundsTrue.com, the iTunes of all things spiritual).

Raquel above, and the folks below, show that you don’t need to in a studio or retreat center to do yoga, meditate or have a peak experience. They’re available to anyone, anywhere. Everyone’s a guru
